Brake disc wear - how much is too much?

Don't worry about that? It's merely a washer with through holes and it's not torqued. You can remove it by gently tapping the holes with a screwdriver. You'll see just what I mean once you get to it :) You can jack up both sides at once if you prefer. You'll manage just fine, don't worry :thumbs

    Bulb upgrade

Nightbreakers for me too. Mine are needing replaced now though. I've noticed their performance has severely deteriorated over the last couple of weeks

Brake disc wear - how much is too much?

If they're too thin they won't sink heat away as effectively and you run the risk of brake fade just when you're likely to need them the most. If they're below the recommended thickness I'd get them swapped out :thumb2

Brake disc wear - how much is too much?

Yes, I'd change them too. It's not too bad a job, despite the hubs having to come off. It actually sounds far worse a job than it actually is :thumb2

    Norovirus, or winter flu bug

Oh mate, that sounds like a nightmare  Plenty of rest & get some fluids in you. Hopefully you'll be back on your feet soon :thumb2

    Improving fuel economy

Yep. I got 34 out of my 3.0 by driving like an old lady, but my god that got old quick, lol! I get around 29-31 out of the truck now, and I'm happy with that, even using it for a 65 mile round trip commute :thumb2

    Clutch Pedal Bush

Well, it's fitted. What a pain in the ass though! The bush is slightly over-sized, so needs driven into place with a few taps. It's very easy to deform the bush though, so be careful!!! I ended up with the pin not fitting properly, and had to remove both pin and bush to true it up again...

    Clutch Pedal Play

I've ordered one of these. Should arrive today with any luck. I'll fit it if I get the chance and report back later :thumb2

    Clutch Pedal Bush

Yes, he does say it's a tight fit right enough. I was just going to replace the white bush at a couple of quid, but as the last one only lasted a couple of months I think more robust replacement is in order. It gets a lot of good feedback so I'm pretty comfortable with ordering it. The original...

    Clutch Pedal Bush

Just ordered one of these after the brand new replacement OE bush failed after less than 2 months of being in the car :sly http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-Terrano-R20-Maverick-clutch-pedal-bush-PIN-replacement-kit-500-SOLD-/151886515692?hash=item235d244dec:g:DMcAAMXQC-tTD63~ Might be of some...

What a squeal it was making

    Brake Drum differences

Nice work. I had the same issue a while back. Rear brakes were screaming  I couldn't find anything wrong until I noticed a small gap between the lining material and the shoe & stuck a screwdriver into it . . . . .

    Heater. . . . .again

Thanks JT :thumb2 The water pump was niggling at me anyway, so at least I have the peace of mind that it's been replaced :) I was up early to get cracking in case of any problems & the weather was crap early on. Just as I finished the job the sun came out, lol! Just one of those immutable laws...

    Heater. . . . .again

Not to my knowledge. I replaced the coolant with fresh stuff a few weeks ago. Guess maybe there was a gremlin kicking about that I didn't squash. Hopefully it's sorted now though. It's actually hotter now than it's ever been, so maybe whatever was restricting the flow just took a bit of fettling...
