    300 ton crank shaft

Loads of info' in these links guys :thumb2 I wondered too, as I saw the crankshaft for a massive Wartsila marine diesel and wondered how the hell they did it. The crank is forged in 'U' sections, then each section is machined with an interference fit between a male and female spigot. I thought...

    Stuck Sump Plug

You could play a gas torch on it for a couple of minutes? It doesn't need to get red hot though. Just play the flame on the sump directly around the plug and that should be enough to let you free it off :thumb2

    Revelations

A bride on her wedding night told her husband that she used to be a hooker 'That's OK darling, your past is your past, but I must admit I find that quite erotic, tell me about it . . . . . ?' 'Well', she said, 'I was called Nigel, and I played for Wigan . . . . . . .'

    rear brakes sticking

It's also possible that one of the shoe retaining pins may have come free? You should be able to see if they're both still in place by looking at the back of the drum. You should see one pin retaining each shoe. If you see a hole instead, there's your culprit :thumb2

Cheers fellas :thumb2 I've joined the Shogun Owners club, but I don't intend to post much. I'll keep my membership up on here I think though. I enjoy the forum too much to just bugger off :lol The Shogun's a different animal to the Terrano, that's for sure. Jury's still out on the auto box (I...

    Had enough

Been a bit remiss in getting a picture up :o Truck needed a new tank, so I had a few days to wait until it was ready for me to pick up. I do miss the Terrano, we had a few good years together. But there comes a point when you have to weigh the pros and cons :nenau Here's the beast

    blower only working on No4

Yep. The other two are used for the locating pins, if memory serves :thumb2 I repaired mine once, but it really was more hassle than it was worth. I have it in my head that the Micra resistor pack is as close as makes no difference, too...

Can't Seperate Drivers Steering Wheel Airbag from Wheel

I believe if you connect the wires up to a battery it may pop out? :D Sorry mate, I know that's not helpful :lol:lol:lol Kidding aside though, please be careful? I don't know if static can get to any of the detonation circuits, but it's not worth taking many chances. There wouldn't be any...

Tyres? whats do you recommend?? AT

You should get them for around £80 a corner. My truck had Pirelli Scorpions when I first got it, and they were great for road use. You might find some poor reviews for the Bridgestones, but unless they guys writing the reviews were all on the Paris-Dakar their talking utter crap. Sure, they have...
