blower only working on No4

hi all,

just had a trawl through the forums and found the exact same snagette as i have on my truck, only problem is the photo on the thread wont display for some reason.

Could anyone tell me where the speed controller resistor card is situated?

Apparently a resistor on the card can burn out causing the fault.

think housing has 4 holes but only 2 are used.

the Club doesn't recommend repairing unit, some may mention soldering
broken links but these are better thought of as fuses so replacing whole
blade unit, think I paid £20 for mine on ebay 2 years ago still working fine,

and cheaper than replacing car if causes fire!

Yep. The other two are used for the locating pins, if memory serves :thumb2

I repaired mine once, but it really was more hassle than it was worth. I have it in my head that the Micra resistor pack is as close as makes no difference, too?

It depends on the vintage of your T2, my 1996 one had a totally different looking resister, but if I recall it was in a similar place, up and under the glove box.

A lot of parts are common with other Nissans, and often cheaper for the Primera version than the Terrano one, naughty Nissan!
