whats best a 2.7 or 3 .0 litre t2 and there seems to be lots of 3.0 litres around for sale but not many 2.7's . is it because to 2.7's can run veggie oil and the 3.0 litres cant .

I think your problem is the clutch centre plate . I have had the same problem with mine ;put your foot on the clutch and the noise goes . I changed my clutch because I thought the bearing was going and when I got the clutch out on the floor the centre disc of the clutch plate had broken up ...
