Stick with it , it will something simple. Mine has no dash lights but is cranking. Everything is pointing to a fault on the ignition switch. There's a multitude of push fit connectors on these cars so clean and check them all. Brian

Rick im guessing switch is best go to main dealer rather than copy or used. Keys are both very worn so barrel / matching key might be best anyway. Brian

Thanks have checked wiring but keys are getting worn so will check again.

Ok checked all fuses again . Have swapped big fuses with same size to check and still nothing. Cranks but not firing no dash lights or windows. Have cleaned every multiplug I can find . All I can think is immobiliser has cut in but how do I reset ? Leaving battery off overnight rings a bell ...

Well switch has been good up to now. Waiting for truck. Try another key when home incase dropped code ???

Driving along mav cut out . No dash lights but cranking but not firing up. Jet washed engine bay earlier with engine running and drove for several miles. Brake down guy checked all fuses and sprayed all connectors. Nothing . Waiting for big truck now. Supposed to be away for weekend laning in...

Jack it up on blocks and roll the chassis out from under it.

Will try again tomorrow, easy enough to remove.

Clean all internal contacts Rick and no didnt bench test :-(

Starter motor stripped cleaned and greased .....still nothing. New starter it is then :'(

Parked the maverick up two weeks ago after very muddy off roading. Now it wont start .Battery was flat but still not starting when charged just clicking from starter motor. Managed to tow start tonight all running sweet as but turn it off and just clicks. So looks like two year old starter...
