    Water pump...

I've been putting this off for too long, I now need to replace my water pump. Before I buy one, can anyone recommend a good supplier. I've had local prices fron £112+vat to £50+vat. Are there any makes to avoid ? I'd rather pay a bit extra, fit it and forget it. Lee. :thumbs

    Viscous fan removal

I think that the X-Eng thermostatic switch is the best idea, as it is housed in a collar that fits into the hose. The hose has to be cut, and the collar fits in-line. No messing about trying to seal a capilary sensor. Lee. :thumbs

twin head lights for a tdi

I've seen quite a few photo's of Ozzy Terrano's, where they have additional spots on top of the bull bars, which look quite cool. Lee. :thumbs

eje rigido - live front suspended r20

Have seen this one before also. Like the snorkel, front bumper and rear number plate position. Wonder what axle he used for the front ? Probably alot of work for not alot of benefit, but proves that it can be done. Well done that man. Lee. :thumbs

    Rusty Sills

I've found that my sills used to fill with water, after jetwashing etc. To cure this, I drilled a 4mm hole at the rear and bottom of each sill. Problem solved. I had the interior out of mine when I first bought it, (smelt like a farm yard). The sills, boot floor, arches etc are solid. Must be...

    Please withdraw my membership

I get on here as often as I can, sometimes difficult with 3 little ones and a busy job. I read the bits that I find interesting, and ignore the rest. If I can add something constructive to a thread, I will do, but above all I don't take anything too seriously. Lee. :thumbs

    SWB or LWB ?

Following on from previous threads about which to use for off roading, I think this video shows the approach / ramp / departure angles of a SWB perfectly... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=366qm3cP5kU&feature=related Lee. :thumbs

    New wheels and tyres...

Went out for a drive in the snow last night around Dartmoor. On icy / snow covered roads / lanes / tracks, these tyres were excellent. Loads of grip and very confidence inspiring. And yes, I did forget the camera ! (Muppet) :doh Lee.

    New wheels and tyres...

I took the bull bars off whilst replacing the radiator, started looking at how it was fitted and before I knew it, it was off ! :doh I've still got the water pump to replace, then I'll refit it with new fixings. It's on my list of jobs to do before we go to France ! Lee.
