Yes it been posted before but couldn't find 'til spotted on ut earlier again.

certainly looks agile, what parts, and sources, have been used. A lot of
work, think would go Icelandic route moving sub frame forwards to clear
bulkhead/flaps and rear axle backwards as would be change both bumpers
to metal one with winches and receivers built in. Still standard truck can
do more than most would dare to, reckon if same height mudders being
chunkier anyway would make it almost unstopable. Thinking back to how
fit those Camel Trophey landies were, discos rangeys and defenders all
fairly stock other than HDed and caged which would aid confidence to
push the truck further dont you think?

Like you say been on before - not that impressed tbh - very little front end flex, considering that should be why you would do it. Fairly certain my new one with 2" lift and 32" tyres could do what thats doing there.

Looks to be using landy style hocky stick front suspension which will be why its got so little flex, unless you get that just right all the bushes are fighting each other all the time. A proper 3 or 4 link set up + panard rod woul dbe far better.

Have seen this one before also. Like the snorkel, front bumper and rear number plate position. Wonder what axle he used for the front ? Probably alot of work for not alot of benefit, but proves that it can be done. Well done that man.

yep i lik plate too. up on spare, bit like new cherokees and shoguns. after all dead
space, other advertising club or something else. the club url could still go around
edge of wheel if was using a full cover.

believe in ermany you have to have spare covered, still dont know how that applies
to harmonisation, like these white and red warning boards towsure reckon you need
in italy??? surely if your vehicle is legal at home thats enough as only temp import.

Only issue with remounting number plate is requirement to have a number plate light wherever it is fitted....I used to have a square plate mounted on the door on my old T2 (that my wife nicked!) and just refitted the old one for MOT... :augie

agreed TRS, reckon our lsd makes up almost for landy coil live axles. As previous asked
(you) for advice on one for front end, all auto with non of this centre diff locking (read
potentional for failure) unreliability.

land crusier colardo. that said no landy was in test so 4th at worst as 10 car test was
based on new suvs at time. think testers had a 110 for own use.

zippy yep i got it, will try to get scanned in subject to copyright, if not will
advise which month year as assume 4x4i do back copies. The editor has/had
a commercial t2 - John Carroll as ex member Cameraman contributed a GL
trip write up to it, which I also have somewhere.

4x4i.com (4x4 magazine) had a GL trip May 07 newish test of cherokee in
Wales with editorial r20 behind. This is edition with NFM4x4OC Derbyshire
GL trip article. Features Cameraman's son's t2 and I think IanDouglas'
swb t2. The 2 page spread being called 'Peak Practice', as I understand
Mr Carroll was due to attend a later similar trip but editorial commitments
prevented, in September 06.
