    Bike rack...

The rear lighting mod is fitting a tail light bulb holder into the brake light cluster. This gives following vehicles a much better "view" of the rear of the truck. You'll find it here : http://nissan4x4ownersclub.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2058 We're going to Faye d'Anjou. It's about a...

    Bike rack...

Will definately run with a lighting board. The tyres are Kumho KL71's. The spare is new, but the others I bought from Elty on here. They were superb at Salisbury Plain. I'm going to move the 12N socket to the bumper, and replace it with a metal type one, and bin the 12S electrics, as I don't...

    Bike rack...

Have been trying for ages to win a spare wheel mounted bike rack on Eblag for the Mav, in preparation for our France trip, but have always lost them due to going to silly money. I've finally got one at a decent price. All I need now are a pair of cross bars for the top box to fit the roof rails...

    Chuffin torsion bars

Does Polybushing the ARB's make that much difference ? I'm hanging on to my (removed) front ARB, and will fit new drop links to it and refit the wholr thing come MoT time. I'd also fit Polybushes if I thought it was worth it. Lee.

    Very Frustrated Mav 2.7td 1994

Hello Hopeful, that definately sound like the viscous fan unit without the blades, which is attached to the water pump, I've pictured it here : http://nissan4x4ownersclub.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3690 ... scroll down the page. Sorry to hear about your problems. This club is excellent...

    Brakes Problems

I had this exact problem when I replaced the calipers on mine. It is the float switch in the brake fluid reservoir sticking. Remove the lid, clean the float switch and contacts. Lee. :thumbs

    Water leak...

While the pump is off again, where should I look for other possible culprits ? The thermostat housing is above the pump area, would it be worth taking this off aswell ? Lee.

    LWB rails on my SWB

Hello Bud, does your SWB have a sunroof. Would like to fit longer rails to my LWB, but have a sunroof. If I fit spots to mine at the moment, they would be too far back. Was thinking of "cutting and shutting" 2 sets of LWB bars. Looking good there Mate, Lee.

    Water leak...

When i fitted the pump, I put a smear of Loctite 5699 water pump gasket sealant each side of the paper gasket. I was toying with the idea of taking the pump off again, cleaning up both faces, and refitting the pump with a proper bead of sealant without the paper gasket, just so as I know it's...

    Changing the rear LSD oil

Must get all of the drive train fluids changed on mine before we go to France. Thanks for the reminder. Could be a job for one of the May Bank Holidays. Lee. :thumbs

    Water leak...

I've recently changed the water pump, as I thought it was leaking. The problem is still there, a small weep coming from ,(it looks like), somewhere just above the water pump. Any ideas ? It only happens for a couple of minutes when starting from cold, and then stops. Lee. :nenau

    Knocking noise

I had a similar front end knock. Turned out to be the front ARB which I binned. The ride is much better on road, so off it will stay. Lee. ;)

    screeeeeech on turning

When I had the KL71's fitted to mine, the ride was very hard. I checked the tyre pressures, and KwikFit had them all at 36 psi :doh. I've dropped them to 30 psi, more compliant on-road, and still capable off-road. Lee. ;)

    Torsion bar adjustment

It made a huge difference to the look of the truck when I binned the side steps. Much cleaner lines, and looks taller. Makeitfit, I do get it very mucky, have a look here... http://nissan4x4ownersclub.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3871 Lee.
