Finally got around to replacing the relay box asa pictured above. The window works a treat now, no more bits of 4" x 2" holding it up ! Lee.

I got to the point when doing mine where I had so many cables, connectors and bits of tape etc. that I wondered if it would ever work again. Nice to hear that engine start up first time ! :clap Lee.

Mines never come on either ? It does light up on the dash before you flick the starter on the key though ? :nenau Lee.

Finally got the new drivers side electric window mechanism fitted this weekend, with no problems, only to find that the relay box in the door was cream crackered. Someone had levered the lid off in the past, and carried out a bodged solder repair. The pcd was also corroded from water ingress...

Sounds like it might be on the way out. If it were mine and I was paying, I'd try bleeding the hydraulic system first, then checking the cylinders etc. Lee. :thumbs

I'm going to try to source a new pair. Thinking about our France trip, fully loaded, 3 nippers, 2 adults, bike rack, roof box, kitchen sink etc... Lee. :thumbs
