The only time I had this problem was when the battery was on it's way out......So I fitted a brand new one with a good amp/hr rating and high CCA and it fires up perfectly now. Dave

my spill pipes are not rubber ?

When ever I have come across this type of joint there is normally a copper or some type washer between them. With annealing you heat the copper washer up till it's cherry red then drop it in cold water quickly ,this will soften the copper washer again to allow it seal properly. You only do this...

maf sencer ,are there 2 types

Yes you can clean them ...........bosch or hitachi. If you look inside the maff unit the sensor is sat inside, handy if you have an airline to blow it out once you have wetted it OR use an aerosol can of electrical contact cleaner to spray it.

my spill pipes are not rubber ?

If there is copper washers on the spill pipe joints then remove them and anneal them then re-fit or get some new copper washers(I would still anneal them though first if new as they harden over time). Apply a tiny drop of loctite hydraulic seal to the washer or surfaces of your joint and they...

Does the fuel inlet to your injector pump have a mini filter fitted ............... I know I say this a lot on here but this mini filter is a 5 minute job to check,a lot of people don't even know if they have one or not(just check anyway)If this filter is blocked the Terrano will hardly run...
