my welder is gasless and i think its ok. defenatly harder on the thin stuff but loves a chassi or something a little thicker..

when you plate the chassi back together with a plate ever the cut, chop the corners of your plate, eg a rectangular plate would then have 8 sides. this gives more strength than a 4 sided plate as the weld pulls/holds in different difections.. maybe you knew this already..

i was going to do glass etching myself a couple of years ago as we have the machines at work. i was looking to sell to the green oval brigade as they have more money than sense.. was looking to engrave the logo in to the rear door glass as i recon they would pay big for that... maybe you...

got to agree liner/linner (spellings crap) these kink and can get squashed when droping tools on etc also you can adjust the tension on the feed wheels on my welder and those i have used but im on 3 phase/industrial welders at work.

peasgood i did not want to see that:lol:lol:lol i will be doing jims bus but as its about 10/12 mile each way to jim's house i wanted to fabricate as much as i could at work.. not so easy in the drive with limited tools and much better if its 1 day rather than 2.. im hopeing jims just got...
