So...yesterday I changed my front exhaust flexi. I decided to do it the man-way and not remove any cross members etc. Man, that inner bolt couldn't be more awkward if it tried. Essentially the job took me far too long, but I kinda enjoyed it as it was a good workout for my arms. I jacked the car up, removed the wheels and inner arch liner and access the bolts through there for two, and from underneath for the awkward bolt.

Once removed, removed the two bolts from the centre section - nice and easy, then wiggled and swore the pipe out from underneath. Did the reverse to fit the new one, awkward as hell without removing the cross members but I wasn't about to risk broken bolts there, a good tap with The Persuader and it was in place easy enough.

Dashing of exhaust gasket paste, tighten up and voila, all done. Most pleased with myself.
