this one is a mid 96 and its the same as mine and mine is a late 2000. you know you can get spare for them ?

most times this is the plastic bush in the pedal worn, someone on here was selling brass ones, but if you take the old bush out you should be able to find a plastic item that will match, push button ball point pens come to mind, it does not need the top hat flange if you make it long enough to just sit between the fork, Rick

Can't remember who it was now with a brass bush:eek: but basically their source had dried up.
All being well I've got a source for complete unit so this may be the way to go even if I strip it for the bits.

anybody got an old one.. take some dimensions and ill see if i can get some turned at work.. one of the old boys might do me a favour.

i know we have phospher bronze ( very hard ) not sure if there is and brass but i can ask

10mm outside diameter and 8mm internal diameter not sure on how long it needs to be ,
but you could cut it down to length

it`s length needs to the same width of the clutch pedal as it fits through a hole in that

no it needs to be the same length as the space between the clutch cylinder fork which is a fair bit wider than the pedal thickness, if you make it to the pedal thickness it will ride to one side and fail fairly soon, that is why nissan put the top hat rim on the original to take up the extra space, Rick

Ive just had mine out this morning and its knackered, I'm going to make one next week ill run some more off if people want some? What do you think is a reasonable price? And ill sell you them for that + postage. Brass would be the material as I've got plenty of off cuts. Cheers craig

i would say just postage ... it would be a good gesture and it always comes back around in the end..

think the other guy making them was charging a fiver, not sure what the stealers want for the plastic one, but honestly once someone comes up with a common plastic household object that they cut from they can be available for nothing, Rick
