    Angle of Dangle

Looks to me like you need to fit a trapeze and get a really keen passenger :naughty :thumbs

    Angle of Dangle

Even If you can get a figure for the standard, unmodified car, it will change significantly (worse) for every inch lifted, and (better) for every inch the track is increased. Also any changes to the suspension softness could make it go either way. even a small loading on the roof will be a big...

    off road citroen

The amount of rain we have had in East Anglia this last 2 days, I am surprised any of Norfolk is actually above the waterline. It is a good job there are so many boats there on the broads :augie I must, however, take issue with Norfolk being "down". Everyone knows you go "up" to Norfolk...

    Help

I don't know if is the same problem, but I had a similar issue this time last year with my Patrol. As soon as it started getting colder. Poor starting and lots of white smoke. Once it had started it was fine for the rest of the day. It was the glow plugs. They had worn away. New set and never...

    Roof light wiring

This was my original plan but I had concerns about the seals. What connectors did you use? Have you done this for a CB aerial lead as well? Any pictures would be appreciated. Ian

    Roof light wiring

What is the route? Switches inside car - through bulkhead into engine compartment? (relays / fuses there?) - then where to base of snorkel? Any pictures would be appreciated Ian

    Roof light wiring

A question for all you with lights on the roof. How did you get the wiring from the lights into the car? :nenau I also have the same issue with the CB aerial cable. I have looked at grommet seals and waterproof connectors, but I am not sure cutting a hole in the roof is the best solution :augie...

    Lifting the suspension

Thanks for the information. I have started another thread specifically on this issue. The BFG's in the bigger sizes only seem to be available in the US, and they are silly money. $400+ per tyre :o I will look at some of the others you have listed Thanks Ian

    Advice on Patrol Tyres

As you may have seen in another thread, I am looking to change my tyres and would like some advice on what size and make to go for. Currently I have BFG 285/75/16 A/T's. These come up at 33" compared with the standard tyre which is about 31". The largest BFG M/T's are 305/70/16 which again are...

    Lifting the suspension

Please define "stuck" then. :nenau To me stuck is it wont go forwards or backwards under it's own power, and it definitely wouldn't. It took far too long to get out. The picture shows it just when it happened. 2 hours later when I got free, I was not in the mood to take another picture showing...

    Lifting the suspension

First thing I did when it all ground to a halt was to unhook the trailer. Unfortunately by then the 'troll had decided to stay put. I put some cloth (old towels) under the wheels and then tried to get some bits of the pallets under, but it did not help. I did not think of letting the tyres down...

    Lifting the suspension

It seems the modifications need to go further. Went over some fields yesterday, pulling the big trailer. Didn't ground anything with the 4" lift and I was so impressed I didn't see the patch of wet, soft Essex clay, and sank straight into it :o The BFG A/T's became slicks and it took 2 hours...

    Rear light fixing

On the clip subject, I was in my "friendly" Nissan dealer last week and he checked on the database and there are 16 of these clips used on the car, 8 each side. So how come nobody ever seems to have more than a couple still in place. :nenau
