    why a 4x4

My first 4x4 was a Disco (company car. :D). I wanted the higher viewing position and the more upright seating. It was also the time Essex Police had started using the hand held speed cameras and I thought a big lump would make me drive slower (It did too :thumb2) The 4x4 just came with it. I...

    Smart Phone Apps

The Barclays Bank app is excellent (but only if you bank there :D) Flight Radar 24, if you are interested in planes. - I followed my daughter's flight from Mumbai to Heathrow so I knew when to get the airport to pick her up. (Still had to pay an exorbitant parking fee just for the short time I...

I think this goes a long way towards explaining the mods to your car. :naughty Happy Christmas, this forum would not be the same without you. :thumbs

    defraggler

Back in the day, a defrag program was an essential part of running a PC. Since Windows 7 these are now integrated into the system. Also the size of the disc on most PC's means you are not going to worry about the space. I would recommend you leave well alone. Unless it has a very good "resume"...

    Wanted - Patrol wheel

2 wheels left with Pirelli scorpions with about 5mm of tread 265/70/16. There is a picture attached to another thread, but I can't find it at the moment. I have no idea if the wheels will fit, but I am happy to separate the tyres if you just want them. I am in Leigh. pm me if you want the...

    what's your mileage?

My old petrol Terrano, long since gone to the smelters in the sky, used to do a steady 19mpg. Around town, or on a run, it seemed to make no difference. However over a muddy field to go shooting, there was no stopping it. Eventually the clutch went at the same time as the salt water got to the...

    New tyres for me

I made it home OK, a round trip of 370 miles, dropping off 5 tyres, picking up 4 tyres and wheels, dropping of one tyre and wheel and now got the others in the garage. I am getting the wheels re-furbished and painted black in January, hopefully that will complete the big mods. If anyone wants...

If that's what you do to the poor truck, I hate to think how you have decorated the ferrets.

Removing front arbs with susp list?

I was starting to get a bit concerned reading this thread, in order to fit the OME springs and shocks on my 'trol, both ARB's, including the switchable rear one, had to come off. I have noticed a bit more sway in the body on the corners, but so far no other problems. It is reassuring to hear you...

Nice 'trol. Good to see some more in the club, far too many Terranos's. :augie I would suggest you turn the periscope round the right way, you are not in the desert now. :naughty

    Hazzard Warning Switch

I only did in once in my disco and I did hit a bump (rock) hard while driving too fast down a private lane in the dark. :doh I do not know if any of the Nissan's have this, but it would tie up with the reported problem.
