For the past two years, myself and a good friend have been working on a horse neglect case - over sixty horses and some dogs being neglected, not feed or receiving vet care etc.
Several animals died, including one young mare who slipped in mud and was too weak to stand. Horrific.
The owners were hoarders, and blind to the problems, convinced they were good caring people.
We spent ages going in undercover, in daylight as 'customers', or sneaking in along public footpaths at night in all weathers, taking photo's, videos, vet/farrier reports, interviews with ex and current staff etc. Oh we covered everything.
And tonight finally we heard that Trading Standards are prosecuting for over twenty separate counts of neglect.
Thank ****!!!
