Met up with Ian from Essex (fellow member on this forum) to collect a wheel and some 33" tyres from him, most cars I meet are lower than mine but Ians made mine look tiny, look at distance from kerb to our towbars.
Ian said he bought the 4" lift but it went up closer to 5" really looked good and would love to have the funds to lift mine a bit higher.

Thanks for all your help today Ian and I hope you made it home safely would be interesting to know if you checked out your mpg on all the running round you did today.

Kind regards

Russell.

Very nice lads!!!! Russell, I've just sold my private plate that came with my Terrano as part of the sale, if you have another car it would have gone a treat

It was RUI 3686 :doh

I only flogged it for £130

I made it home OK, a round trip of 370 miles, dropping off 5 tyres, picking up 4 tyres and wheels, dropping of one tyre and wheel and now got the others in the garage.

I am getting the wheels re-furbished and painted black in January, hopefully that will complete the big mods.

If anyone wants one or both of the other wheels, they are up for grabs for the right offer. (currently with Pirelli Scorpion 265/70/16 with a few thousand miles left on them)

I will fill up tomorrow and check the MPG, but I expect it will be in the 20-21 range as usual. I tried to stay at about 65 to keep it reasonable. :thumbs

All tyres fitted to car could not resist getting spare refurbed before fitment, problem with spare was bigger tyre ment it would not fit on door so had to put nuts behind to space it out abit, which then also ment I needed a longer padlock.

Kind regards

Russell.
