    Well I can tell you it can/does happen as I ended up with 2 broken knuckles thanks to a seatbelt pre tensioner safety pin failling & it going off:augie:augie I have also seen air bags go off on their own:doh plus by law these items have to be stored in a metal container

    You must always disconect the battery for at least 1/2 hour if you are working on a steering wheel fitted with an air bag or the seat belt pre tensioners or you run a high risk of saying good bye to your face or life as they are both packed with explosives:doh:doh:doh

    Some have heated seats so you could be right but i've got 3 blanks there with mine being a SWB & i'm sure it's the same console as the LWB & thats where the rear window switches go with the lock button

    Aux switches

    I've used an old rear fog light switch for my roof lights & have positioned it in the blank on the o/s of the dash infront of the clocks:DThe other blank next to the ultra sonic switch I fitted my CB mic clip so there is no holes in the trim:D
