Now its cold, i start mine up and leave it runnning for about 10 minutes before i drive it. But i have a 8 foot gate on my drive to stop anyone nicking it.
According to what i have found out it drops one of the con rods (No3) and its a fault from the maufcture of the parts.

Because its a common fault Nissan have been fixing them, i just want to see if anyone else has had this and what happend with them. Just incase they say it not down to them. Its only done 80,000 with a full Nissan service history.

Fez and Stinka are correct. This is not the right site for you. The Maverick that is on here is based on the Nissan Terrano but ford went and built their own version of it in 2003.

I think its the starter motor Pete as its a bit slow. Just put new Glow plugs in.
If i roll it down hill it will fire right away and once started keep starting alday.
