Hi, used to be here briefly as Dartmoor_Lad. Sold my Mav 2.4 and went over to the Dark Side and ran a couple of Jeep Cherokees, a 2.5 sport then a 4.0 Ltd. Very nice motors but couldn't get any more than 16-17mpg on the 4.0 so bit heavy on the wallet.
Anyway I am back... Just picked up a '98 Mav 2.7TDi, 122k on the clock with full service history and a 2 owner car. Needs a damned good clean, seats are fairly grubby and missing a rear headrest but other wise in great nick, going for it's MOT tomorrow and should go straight through with no advisories again. Dont matter if it doesn't the garage has to sort it out before I pick it up
Got to say though, it feels good to be back in a Mav, it makes the jeep feel small and cramped!
