Feeling it now on my neck and shoulders from being in a funny position to weld up the inside of the chassis:(

Got the motor back together after work today:thumb2
Spring was looking a bit scabby so i took it into work and Shotblasted and powdercoated it in ultramarine blue.

Took some measurements and compared them to the ones i took before i started and they are all within 1mm so I'm happy.
Going to remove the spring and bump stop from the other side at the weekend and see what i find.
Got me paranoid now that it may also be rotted.

Those bump rubbers/helpers look a bit solid/hard, Rick
You know Rick i thought the very same when i was working on the spring mounts and wondered if they have contributed to damaging them.
Rather than have the progressive cushioning the standard ones offer these will just be a full on dead stop.
My reason for fitting these was to stop the wheel hitting the inner rear wheel arch on full articulation with the longer shocks fitted.
May have to revert back to the standard ones.
