Don't think i will be getting one for the garden. :lol:lol:lol:lol:lol:lol

Yeh but that was a test one. My mate works on the windmills and loves it.
They have auto switch off for big winds :D
We've got them near us and they're just awesome:thumbs
I'd far rather the odd blade hitting a sheep than radio active waste in our old coal mines:eek:

My Solar panels produce nearly that on a good day:thumbs

They're becoming more and more popular those wind genny's, I see they have them just off shore at Blackpool.

We have to do something to get energy for the future.:)
however solar pannels are much better and low impack on the invironment
they just cost more and take up more room on the earth so less land for us to enjoy If we all just cut down on our need of energy that would help:thumbs

Green is most defo in :D
Anybody got any cash to invest then do it green now. Get yourself a £25k turbine and expect to earn around 3500 to 4000 a year:sly
Voltaic panels on your roof and sell at 49p a unit "feed in rate":naughty

up the road from us they are just in the process of replacing 14 smaller 25m turbines built in 1993 with 6 107m high, 2 megawatt (each) turbines.

Any chance of getting an old one, I could mount an aerial on top too:doh

Won't bore you with the scheme I bought mine through but it's not www.ashadegreener.co.uk. I own mine and they'll of paid for themselves in 6 years time and from then on I'm in 100% profit. First day I had my panels fitted the main meter didn't move until Teatime when the oven went on. We were all at home with telly's computers and stuff on. I have main meter, a generation meter, a bluetooth remote meter that gives all the stats and figures for the solar and a smart meter that tells us what we are currently using. Just having the smart meter alone opened our eyes and saved us money so I can't recommend those highly enough.

All the money I've spent on 4x4s over the years to get a Mediterranean climate and you guys are trying to mess it up.

Feed in rate is artificially high for some years to come to sort of "force" investment:sly
