So, what do you guys have planned for your truck this spring and summer?
I have a very long list of jobs to do, including refinishing the interior where the carpets used to be, I think I'm going to prime the floor, spray with lizard skin which is a sound deadender and then spray with raptor liner or equivalent. I also want to paint the bumpers and trim grey, bigger tyres, wheel spacers and finally (hopefully) paint under body and chassis. I also want to replace the boot floor and then build a couple of drawers into the boot along with something to sleep on with the back seats down. Various engine mods including full exhaust, 3.0l clutch as mine sometimes slips a little while towing the caravan. I want to do more work on the roof rack I made hopefully fitting a light bar or a few spots in a row.

I'd like to hear what you guys are upto/got planned for your trucks/camper/jeeps or anything that interests you :D:thumbs

I’ve got loads planned.
Maverick- clean underneath and get treated with Shultz and a general bit of tlc.

Terrano project truck. My wife mainly drives this now and transports the dog. Strip out unused second battery and simplify the electrics.

VW Camper - got windows, lining carpet and split charge to fit.

Mostly enjoying life though :thumbs

Yes been there and done that :lol

Got a whole load of stuff now waiting to get fitted.

Want to cut holes out for windows and then fit the carpet to the sides before fitting the windows so it’ll be a slow job but all being well fitting this way will give me the best results.

My winch bumper needs modifying, as does my glow plug ECU, having starting issues now, need to grit blast the chassis and proof it but not till the warmer weather, plus loads sorting in the yard, Rick

Thinking about getting a set of Bilstein B6 off road and do some other small stuff

The poor old Turdano had been neglected for a while

I too have a list of jobs.
Replace steering linkages is top of the list.
Remove front bumper and modify to accept a winch.
Front shafts need new uj's and gaiters
The sills are scabby, so cut em out.
Fit manual hubs. Haven't found any yet.
Suspension lift
Clean up and treat the underside
A change of all oils

The list goes on and on

:lol

I have my Commercial that needs lots and lots of things replaced and projects done on it before I'll be happy.

The new ZD30 LWB I've just brought that is currently stripped down ready for Waxoyl and new parts.

Not to mention the Patrol that needs the new engine dropping in but not before I extract the snapped glow plug from it's head first :doh

Sounds like a lot of us have a lot of projects going on so plenty to post about. Wish I could get my head around a photo hosting site to update project threads on here.

Just use ImgBB, that's what I use now, it's as good as photobucket used to be without the adverts, only down side is that you'll need to re-size your pictures yourself as ImgBB will take the native size of the picture and not dynamically resize like Photobucket used to.

If you used Photobucket, you can't struggle with this

Like everyone else, I have a huge long list... But I fear 2020 will not be my year to tick many of those boxes!

Patrol

  • Rust prevention/protection for underside.
  • Raptor paint all body work.
  • Stealth mod/relocate train horns.
  • Fix ALL electrical gremlins. (That has its own long sub-list!)
  • Upgrade tyres. (I'd like 37's but will probably get 35's)
  • Find & fix front suspension knock.
  • Figure out why the steering damper isn't doing it job.
  • Underside armour.
  • Air box & intake mod.
  • Usable rear storage and fabricate dog guard
  • I still want a 2" receiver. (Front & Back)
  • Fit 3” down pipe and finish exhaust.

I'm sure there's more, but I've finished my dinner break and have to get a move on!

X-Trail

  • Roof Rack
  • Snorkel
  • Raptor paint all body work
  • Whatever else the Boss decrees!

Good experience with the brand Bilstein.
Used them on a couple of road cars and also a set of cup dampers on my old trackday car.

Reviews on the internet are possitive as well.

What I'm doing this weekend - its boring stuff!

As I can use both my hands again for light work I plan to re-fit the nearside headlamp then remove the offside unit to start the de-fuzzing so they match.

If it's raining the it's plan B - Couch Potato Mode.

I'm looking forward to seeing a pic of them finished and fitted :thumb2

I plan to do all the things I planned last year. :) Circumstances have changed and the Terrano is the easiest to Mot out of the transport museum so will be my daily driver for a while. Finances are changing too so once I have one of the other cars on the road the Terrano can get some off road toys.
