We are going to a classic car show today, just me and my wife, as my daughter is away at Uni and my son has gone with his mate to Duxford in his mates Willys jeep (long trundle)

Nice to have your children around you on fathers day :augie:augie:D

Mowing my field and lawn, if the weather stays dry.

My son lives 150 miles away, one daughter is down in Havant and the other daughter is at work in Carlisle, so a quiet day for me.:augie

Got some nice cards, and chocolate to keep me energised! :thumbs

Mick

Just got back from walking up the village to pick up the paper, noticed a steady procession of vintage commercials, counted over 60 while we were out.
What a joy to see all the old trucks, buses and pick ups :):)

Hoping the father who left before I was six months old is a wealthy businessman with a guilty conscience in later life. :lol

I have been mainly converting my van into a camper :D
Just need a few dry days before the weekend as I've promised her indoors a weekend away :kissy
Next weekend

Had to do a double take, I thought you were Ryan :augie:augie

im quite upset , this is the first year I haven't had a card or visit :(

That's a shame Briggie  I'm sure he's thinking of you all the same.
We said to our kids 20 years back, not to buy cards. If they can make one for us then that's great and they still do at 19, 24 and 27 :D
We only buy them a book or similar as we reckon cards are a massive waste of natural resources. I'm also convinced many "Days" like uncle's day and grandmother's day etc are just made up so more cards can be sold :doh
Today I had a smashing picture of some Penguins from my middle daughter who works in a zoo. A fridge pack of Bud from my son (he owed me them already :lol) and some charity shop DVDs from eldest daughter.
Happy days :clap
Oh yeh, the wife baked a cake for the hell of it :naughty

Been out for some veggie oil, fitted the motor control board that I repaired in the treadmill, finally started making up the loom for my roof lights on the patrol and fitted some new bonnet bumpstops onto it.
Went for a drive and spent sum time looking at all the things I can't afford on the internet. Watched a bit of TV and spent a bit of time with the other half after the kids went bed :naughty
