Penrhiw Campsite, Ffair Rhos (about 3 miles from the bothy, But close to a road)

There's a pub across the road but hate the owner, Nicer pub about a mile away.

That's it Jim. Usually go with just a bivy bag and a tarp but that's by mountain bike. I'll have my youngest with me for the weekend so I thought we'd go upmarket with a terrano, tent and tarp!:lol

Update boys, I'm bringing a lad from work called Tom, he's up for a bit of off roading, gate opening etc etc, he wants to buy a Terrano soon too so could have another one join up :lol

Bothy has bags of space from memory bro as the upstairs is all sleeping pallets, although it might depend if other folk are there...

Looks like a drive over to Strata is the plan,also going to contact the elan valley trust to try and get permission to drive the short link road to the byway around claerwen res.

Paul is stopping at the same campsite as us for a few days on his way back from snowdonia so would be rude not to show him around the area
