wales monthly meet for march 09

ok that time has come around again...... you know !!! where we make plans for how we will get pete makeitfit stuck in some forest in the middle of nowhere :doh



so this month i thought we should try something new...... possible go somewhere and not let him get stuck:sly

no really we need to start planning where and what we at team wales are going to do , for march monthly meet

i had thought about bringing the wife and kids this time ..... but i dont think we are good enough yet ... for an audience :augie:augie:nenau

hopefully we have not put paul (lacroupade) off meeting up this month. be nice to get and keep the numbers up

Nope I'm up for it, even though The Redhead thinks we are JDs....my shiny new CB radio arrives tomorrow (if she finds out I'll never hear the end of it so keep yer traps shut if you see her!).

I agree about keeping it reasonably simple this time - always happy to crew with one of you sometime if the going is over my head though!

One thing I fancy doing one day - doesn't need to be this time - is taking a leaf out of dadba's book - I really loved that scottish sahara video he did and I'd love to try and hook up in summer when he does Southerness again...is there nowhere in West Wales we can do that? Maybe kiteboy knows somewhere? LOL

But a nice bit of medium strength green laning with a brew up in the wilderness somewhere would be great....later in the year we should try and get a bit further up the road past Rhandirmwyn than we did this time (!!!)....nice drive round the lake and miles of forest beyond that I've never even looked at, so who knows whats up there....

Maybe we should buy an OS map each (different one of course) and pore over them sometime while we eat Colins jelly babies...(did you see that photo I put up for you Colin????)...

even though the pigs over there are really crappy with 4x4's

but i guess all i need is a new rear plate to be legal now.... i taxed the old girl today, i thought id best not have a reason to moan on here tonight and have pete say i told you so

also bare in mind aprils meet is on the 24-25 april as dadba is coming to visit and we are doing some banwen and as much sarn helen as you can possibly want
