Which lanes did you take in T doug??
I am over that way next weekend and have a couple of routes around the area to drive.

No problem Simon it was a pleasure, great to put faces to names, great guys great weekend, Rick sorry I didn't wait for you to come back but I decided I go home. Left at 1850 back home by 1215.
Cheers
We were up in the clouds for the pay'n'play. In spite of the climatic conditions, it was great fun.
Thanks for the ride Wheelie!

More praise for t-doug for sorting out the lanes.
Totally standard Terrano (Brian- mine, it's what it's called now) held up well.

I've also decided that Jay's motor is called Kim (cause it's got a huge rear end that struggled to get through some of the gaps. I should have some video to prove it.

[emoji38] he had the right sized bit to remove it then he took it "round the back," we heard a power tool then he fetched it back clean, working and oiled up, it happened fast too :thumbs

We only did three lanes, had a late start as we were chilling out and eating breakfast :D Still took us over four hours, 18 miles in total including the tarmac between lanes which wasn't much really. The lanes were slow going though especially the last one which was a beast, called happy lane I believe :thumbs It looks like there is a voluntary one way on it which is essential really and it isn't far from the bastard/horseshoe :naughty if you like I'll screen shot the routes for you :thumb2

It looks like you all had a really great time.....:thumb2

Well done all...

If Davey is thinking of organising a Dartmoor bash, I may be up for that as its a bit more convenient for me, and I coul jack up a bunk in Plymouth...

I know that it's already been said, but a TOP weekend with some TOP blokes! :thumbs

I managed to get home just a little after midnight... As I pulled onto my drive the International Space Station was just flying overhead! :thumbs

If anybody has some video footage that they think I might be able to use, then organise getting it over to me and I'll try to stitch a video together.

Jim already sent me 481 pictures... There was only 49 different images, but the rest he managed to duplicate several times! :doh :lol

You know what it was Jay, the ISS had your truck set as a point of interest :lol

If you want owt doin on a phone get a teenager to do it :lol

I'll be booking the Monday off for the next one.
Rushing home on Sunday for work was wasted, jumped in the car to meet the boss in Blackburn, called Volvo assist to see if they could explain the "you've got no brakes" warning light that came on around J28 M6. Anyway, long story short, I left the Volvo in Blackburn, have a Hyundai Tuscon and a less than happy boss.
Bring on the next one!

Ahh bosses stress too much:lol

I really didn’t want to be at work today, much rather of still been there.

I managed to shave 20mins off my journey home. Got in at 9:30, up at 5am, finished at three and had an hours sleep before having a quick look at my truck :thumb2

Simon, it's a good job you left at that point, just a few hundred yards more and holy crap man, I've got my drivers side front and rear wheel arch trims on the back seat, Jay damaged a side step and even Rick bent one of the poles on his front bumper!! I can't stop thinking about it it was so good and the views were amazing, I'm counting the days till I go again :D

It would have struggled in the picture from post #240, when I say it, I probably mean me... :lol
A bit more prep on the car before going hard core.
I'm glad that every got to see some of Wales. It is a beautiful part of the world, and yes, of course I'm biased. That Barmouth estuary is actually the land of my (fore)fathers.

Its a stunning place, and no matter how far we went, how high or how rough the terrain, there was always a sheep :lol

That pic was taken after we had driven the worst bit, I'll try and post a vid of Rick expressing his love for his patrol :D

I think the award for coolest truck goes to Jay, it just looks so good, even with the trim removal program implemented :doh:lol

If you mean happy valley and by the looks of it you do then there is a voluntary restraint on it while repair work is being carried out:naughty:naughty
