If you mean happy valley and by the looks of it you do then there is a voluntary restraint on it while repair work is being carried out:naughty:naughty

Hi Elty

Well done for pointing that out.
I have a colleague who is a regional rep for GLASS.
I knew there had been a VR on this lane for a while now after a vehicle recovery incident.
He came back to me with the good news that the restriction had very recently been lifted. Extreme care and attention has been asked for by GLASS, in the main to protect the repair work done as you’ve mentioned.
I spoke to Mark (TDoug) about this, and we agreed he wouldn’t include Happy Valley on his itinerary until we had the latest on the VTRO.
I was as surprised as he was to hear the news!:clap
Enjoy your time in Wales.
Davey

VRO has apparently been lifted, lots of bikes using too, no signs of any repair work :nenau

Yep I do love my Patrol, what I do not understand is Jay hit rocks that I missed and he has larger tyres, maybe it was just a slightly different line, anyway a great lane and a great week end with a great bunch of guys, Rick

It's because I'm a mere amateur compared to you Rick! You're a seasoned Pro! :bow

Had a bit of a problem with the caravan before we left for home, the nearside front wall decided to detach itself from the floor, so faced with trying to find a timber merchants locally or whatever, decided the best option was to remove the 18mm ply shelf from the Patrol and use that, so stitched it to the inside of the van wall with what screws I had after removing the bed frame and batten to the floor made it serviceable for the run home, in order to lessen the load in the van I squeezed all 4 off road wheels into the Patrol plus all other heavy stuff, will be looking at repairs at a later date, this is how the Patrol looked, Rick

Yea but you got further into that mire than I did, Rick

On board with Tdoug in the forest, I was impressed with the Terranos performance. Low box for most of the day matched with with his laid back driving style while consuming boiled eggs, they were man and machine in perfect harmony.:thumb2

Good to know:thumb2
I spoke to Dafed Taylor, the glass rep who is organising the repair work a couple of weeks ago and the VTRO was still in place then.
Not sure if we will head that far down on this trip.
Will have to see how the weekend pans out.

Hi Elty

Spoke to my chap while we were camping (Sunday) so that will be the latest.
They must have done good repair work. TDoug couldn’t see where they’ve been!

I think I may have seen some faded white crosses painted on some parts of the lane come to think of it, but if they were marks for removal of stuff then the lane will be even more challenging next time we go :D :thumb2
