Hi,

Just checking the shoes and I have significant difference with the wear of the shoes.

This is the same for both sides.

Is this normal or should both shoes wearing at the same time?

If it isnt normal, I guess I need to but new shoes and adjust or could it be that the cylinder isn't pushing one side?

Can I press the brake to see with the cover disc off or will that pop the shoes off?

I've not felt any lack of stopping power and I've only looked today as its part of the service I'm ( very slowly) doing.

Thanks

Dave

Dave.
Replaced mine yesterday and noticed the same as you but when i opened the box of new ones they were the same. The leading shoe is thicker than the other.
Ian.

Thats how they are bud one shoe I thinner. No idea why but just are

Really?!!:doh

There you go then, something new everyday!

I'll just pop the cover back on, adjust the handbrake and we'll say no more about it.

We can keep this between ourselves:thumbs
