Guys

I think my truck might be leaking coolant :/

I noticed a few patches on the girlfriends drive and went out to investigate, I dabbed it up with a bit of kitchen roll and it was mostly clear and didn't smell, on closer inspection it was slightly greasy and had a slight green tinge to it

I got under the truck and managed to catch a glimpse of where it was dripping from, it seems to be running down the sump and onto the floor.

I checked the bay and made surer all caps were secure, the coolant header tank isn't low it's between the min and max mark smack bang in the middle so I'm going to keep an eye on it but in the mean time I thought I'd ask the question.

Have you guys ever seen this before? Where is the most likely place that this will be leaking from?

Cheers Boys

could be as simple as a loose jubilee clip.

any.

If it's not clear exactly where it's coming from you need to find out

I'll have to have a proper look when I get chance, I was a little worried at first when i saw the patch as I thought i may have been leaking oil as I've overfilled this slightly the other week.

Check the water pump very common failure

Where is the water pump located and how can I tell if it has failed completely?

More to the point, if it has gone, do you have one? lol

Do you have air con?

Green, it could be air con fluid.

I'd love to be able to answer that question for sure!!!!

I've been told the truck does have it but only in a fashion, I've been told it's not compressed though whatever that means :S, how can I tell?

It certainly doesn't have an A/C button fure sure I know that much

I'll have a proper look tomorrow and see if I can definitely pinpoint where it's leaking from, it's weird now though because since I've moved the truck and cleaned the drive before the girlfriends mom got back there isn't one drop of it on the drive :S

I'm sure it's coolant!!!
