I'm afraid that ABS sensors did not want to come out so hammer time and new parts....

Rust removing solution - bit of a clean and fresh look

This is one of my favourite project threads 2nd to my own obviously :lol

Lovely work though matey :thumb2

Glad you like it! Stripped the calipers and need new pistons.....oh well. Whole axle with hubs, calipers, front arms, springs are going for shot blasting and powder. It will be it for a bit as time for holiday in few days :D

I guess you will be leaving it parked up then, hope no muppet bumps into it.

Nice looking truck and great thread mate

Yes,

It's going to stay like this for few weeks. I have a drive but it is on the slope and he truck sticks out onto the pavement...
Hoping for that too.

No risk no fun :thumb2

well we must have some nice shiny bits to go back on by now??? or even just an axle build up, or even just shiny stuff laid out on a bench waiting to be built, i need my fix of shiny stuff.... no pressure though:augie

I'm back now. Had a holiday and then few crazy weekends but all bits were getting ready in the meantime. During baking process front diff got stuck so needed stripping and cleaning.(Good to know before the rear diff goes for refresh)

Done now and build back together :thumb2

It should be sunny tomorrow so will start putting it back together with photos :thumb2

Well, got so much stuff that won't fit on two benches :D - as above you will get to see everything :thumbs

Crap photos with mobile, it looks much better :thumb2

So spent some time today unwrapping and building some bits slowly:

Axle

Fresh bits for the braking

New bearings on

Blue Wezmoto brake lines

Extended, coated and bushed front panhard

Coated arms and springs

ABS runner and other bits

Coated bolts and nuts

Once on the car I will take more pics as it should look really good :thumb2

Think we might need a Concours section when this is finished. Some nicely finished parts and attention to detail. :clap:thumb2 Plus the Saab gets my vote as well.:thumbs
