Yeah... Awesome job there dude:thumb2

feeling a bit bad about the attention to detail on mine right now:(

All bolts are old, just cleaned and coated. All parts are powder coated. As for the bushes I got full kit from company Elast Pol in Poland.

Think we might need a Concours section when this is finished. Some nicely finished parts and attention to detail. :clap:thumb2 Plus the Saab gets my vote as well.:thumbs

Thanks for the Saab. That has some nice colours under the bonnet as well :thumb2

Had a rather productive morning today :)

Decided to leave the diff out fit it by hand - heeeeavy!

That's it for this weekend

Looking at all the fresh bits I get angry that I can't do the frame.... :(

Well you could waxoyl the chassis black, or dinitrol it, probably a bit late at this stage without a lot of masking though.. Still looks good...

Will you be doing the rear axle aswell. Does it matter that the swivels on the ends of the axle are painted.

I do want to to do the rear axle. Not really as they are painted-coated when new. The hubs move on bearings anyway

We're the parts sodium blasted/dipped or shot blast.. Where did you order seals and bearings from, Nissan or ??. Going to be stripping mine shortly for a recon/ paint up just gathering parts now, my axles look crap now the chassis is all shiny and black. I was toying with the idea of galving the axle case, Cheers....

Parts have been shot blasted and then powder coated. Majority of parts you can get from Milneroffroad in Matlock. Check their website. Some you can get from Nissan for good price but Milner has loads for a build like this :thumb2

Looking awesome bud :thumbs wish I didn't need to use my Trol as a daily then I could think about doing similar!

Horrible aint it mate :( I'm in exactly the same boat here, so much I'd love to do to the old girl but as she's my daily driver I have to be very careful especially as I'm doing 80 miles a day :doh

Here is a small update:

Got the O/Sdriver shaft, hub with disc installed but I think my hand was shaking and photo looks crap....:nenau
Will get a good one tomorrow :thumb2

Very nice and definatly worth the effort.. A real roadside restoration, literally..
