Not a clue, apparently got parked up after it needed some jobs doing to it and there it lay :nenau There's an 09 SWB Sprinter 4x4 in front of it that only needs a turbo apparently

Not sure when I'll be picking this one up to be honest :nenau I'd have had it back home last night but I had to smooth things over with my partner having only just got rid of the LWB I've just broken for spares :hide:

It will be within the next few weeks I imagine. I arrived there yesterday to give it a look over before going onward to Elty's to drop him off an interior.

I was armed with a torch, my waterproofs and and a big bar and slid underneath to be confronted with a surprisingly clean truck. body mounts and all looking nice and fresh and so was the chassis, body, floor pan, spring hangers etc

The only things that I've identified so far that will need addressing are;

Fuel Lines at rear of chassis before rear wheel arch have been caked in grease, I suspect there might be a slight leak that needs investigating

Rear Door latch broken and damage to trim panel and rusting on rear door, there's another door in the back in perfect condition just wrong colour, needs spraying and swapping.

Rear light O/S bottom bumper light cracked, again new one in rear

Centre box pipe has snapped to tailpipe

Apart from the above, a good jet wash and a valet inside, an oil and filter change and some fresh derv and I'm hoping it shouldn't need much more for a ticket :nenau

I hope so pal, had a few LWB's now and never really had the umphhh to get them shiny again, the SWB's are a lot sexier, especially the vans :naughty

So today I picked up "The Black Curl" :lol

It has been sat a hell of a long time but all the grime just wipes away :naughty

After another £4 at the jetwash

Tried to get it started when I got home with a fresh battery, it started for all of 3 seconds before dying and not starting again

I've got 3 fault codes;

47 crank shaft position sensor
43 accelerator position sensor
77 fuel injection timing control circuit malfunction/injection pump control unit failure/poor fuel quality

Luckily I have all of these spare from the one I just broke :naughty

Everything else seems to work on it electrical wise though, even comes with the standard issue sluggish passengers window :lol

I'll be tinkering tomorrow, wish me luck :augie
