33" Tyres Purchased

Won x4 Cooper Discoverer STT's 33 12.50 15's on eBay for £235 however it's not all straight forward as at the minute they are sitting on £200 quids worth of 10J Jeep Wrangler Steels that I need to get off and sell before I can buy some 10J -0 Steels to fit them back onto and then start cutting

Fun times ahead and I'm still behind on a job :( I want to do the super steering job and fit all my new ties rods ends and centre steering bar that are in the garage, does anyone have a steering box???? I want to get this done before the tyres go on ideally.

Here's them next to my 31" BFGoodrich A/T's

Nice one mate, will look good with them on :thumb2
What year jeep do the rims fit? Might have a buyer for you if they are not sold.
Don't stress too much about the steering id concentrate on the arches and steering damper as elty said. If your cautious the steering will be ok on standard set up.

Craig!!!!!! Drop me a PM with your number pal, I'd love a little chat with you at some point. Forgot all about the steering damper :doh :doh

Damper is easy enough to source if I remember it was just the bracket that had to be fabricated? Anyone know where I can get one from?

Haha the picture of your motor above tricked me banshee :lol

I thought you had somehow hacked into the doors before I realised it was a shadow  :p

So I've had to get a new bumper re-enforcer too, decided to Hammerite it, (Alex will be so proud) P.S thats my sisters towel before anyone asks :lol

Heat Exchanger for thinner winter fuel

I would recommend one of these to everyone, Veggie and Diesel users alike, they are commonplace on most 4x4's in the Scandanavian regions , I thought with this "bad winter" about to hit the weekend I'd get it on quicksharp

Here's a shopping list

Heat Exchanger £50ish

Front ARB Droplinks

HMS Terrance is driving like a ship at the moment in the wind :doh
Took a look and it appears I've totally lost all the bushes and nuts on the passengers side and all the drivers side is hanging on by a whisker :doh

Going to fit these bad boys this eve, couldn't for the life of me find the packet of misalignment washers to take the pic but found them this morn when I pulled my name badge out for work and they were stuck to the magnet on the back :lol

Power Steering Cooler Pipe

Little job but I took some pics for anyone wanting to do this mod :thumb2

It's been agreed that the big loops of pipe that goes down and attaches to the back of the chassis at the front of the car to act as a cooling loop isn't really needed in this country.

Good job as mine looks as if it's already been repaired a number of times and is leaking again, it appears that the clips that actually hold it to the chassis is actually causing the pipe to wear into small holes.

I've now chopped this out and used the existing "U" hose that already has the natural curvature in it, in remarkably good condition too and when I cleaned up the tag it has the date 23rd February 2004 :thumb2

I decided to join up just below the Power Steering pump, no chance of it moving and catching the bottom of the pulley before anyone asks as the pipes are securely clamped, trust me I tested :thumb2

The junk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You can see I've repaired it once, and there is another repair probably from the previous owner, you can see the coloration difference in pipe actually making it reasonably easy to date the repairs

Does anyone have a link to source these, mine are not that good, and I would like to replace them with decent material...
