T2 Storage Space

I guess the T2 is not famous for all it's clever compartments and so forth Anyone have experience with making some storage space or just clever ways to pack stuff in the back? I have some under the rear passenger seats and at the moment the luggage compartment looks like this. Thinking about making a "floor" on top of the spare wheel...

Never liked to hang heavy objects on my doors :lol

some one recently removed 3rd row and did some storage solution,

for me can get bits under middle row, jump leads etc and a lot stuffed
under front seats.

depending on age of t2, is there room for a second battery in which case
could use a battery box, from a caravan accessory shop as a neat tool box.
