Did you test the resistance of each plug individually with the buzz bar removed and did you check the voltage supply was there when key was turned on and then went to the on/off stage? Just wonder whether you have a duff temperature sensor that is telling the ecu the engine is warm when it is actually freezing.
yip, tested it all as per workshop download 6. everything was spot on to the instructions - much to my annoyance, i was hoping something would be wrong so i could fix the problem!!
