my eldest is nearly 16 so she would much rather be with her mates than come out laning. and my lad didn't want to come this time round.

will try and sort out another run towards the end of march(if i have been good enough and got all the jobs around the house finished i should be allowed out:lol)
trying to refine the route a bit to cut out some of the road work between lanes.

looks great, whats your cam sat on / in?

its the mrs phone cam.at the mo its sat in a d.i.y foam holder thats fastened to the screen mount for the sat nav.
could do with being a bit higher up so half of the shot isn't blocked by the wiper.
another job to add to my never ending list:lol:lol

elty you are so hard pressed, get off pc and on with your chores....mrs is about..

btw do you play those toons whilst drivin, mellow dude!

seriously great lane and super vids.

had to put some music over the original soundtrack as my language was a bit on the blue side:eek:
the track fits quite well with the vid i think:nenau

ok, good job done though, think found original trawlin' yer 'bucket.

i edited my vids before i uploaded them so the language might not be to bad(i think)
it was on the start of bull tor lane.
first i got moaned at for pulling over to let some cyclists past.i wasnt on the verge but a guy came over and informed me that there were flowers planted in it so dont drive on it.i smiled and assured him i wouldn't.
a bit further along there was a row of large stones from the wall laid across the lane.
passed them and then there was a tree branch laid across the lane a bit further along.
moved it and carried on but it wound me up a bit as to how childish some people really are.
if the walkers dont want to meet 4x4s/trail bikes when they are out then they shouldn't walk on the by ways and lanes with vehiclular rights of way.
o.k rant over:lol:lol

Had something similar in Cumbria, bunch of us zeroing rifles and this walker came within 30 feet of where were but never said a thing ,just carried on walking in the direction we were shooting. Unfortunately the rest of the lads insisted we stop shooting. Next day we put up signs and left a walkie talkie so any walkers could let us know they were coming and we could stop shooting, one group said it wasn't on their map as a range so why should they use the radio to contact us? Takes all sorts. Incidentally, we were all legal and entitled to be there shooting.

it just gets my back up that some people can't just live and let live and understand that people have different interest.
as long as everything is within the law then i dont see the problem.
i dont rant and rave at ramblers, cyclists and horse riders when we cross paths so why do they have a go at us:nenau

some more video

some more video of the lanes
the first two vids are the same lane.
i drove it a fortnight earlier when it was nice and snowy.
