Hi Jonathon. Small world hey? Was telling hubby about this and apparently the wife of a bloke he works with is the diabetic nurse at Ormskirk??? He's going to find out her name, going back to June she really was/is a godsend. Cheers Angie

Current nurse is Leanne, only been in post a few months, before that someone called Karen did some diabetes at ormskirk. One of these?

Hi Jonathon, the plot thickens...her name is Anne Norris? I have met her at a social gathering, very tall lady??? Last time we spoke was christmas may see her again this christmas.

Hmm, OK, wonder if Anne works on the adult side. Not a name I'm familiar with and us paed diabetes nurses are a friendly bunch and tend to know each other.

I'm at a meeting on friday so I'll check the delegate list and see if she is on it - I'll introduce myself then!

Cheers, you might want to explain it's Mike wife Angie? We only see one another at the annual staff do. Take care, will tell June about us "speaking" on here.

This another reason for starting this post, Another way for people to find out things and links with each other. I hope people are PMing aswell!

Keep it up!

Yes I agree, I dont want it to be a strick what your job is and just that but would like it to stay along the lines of members and their jobs.

I like when people alaberate a bit like why and where and what the used to do.

This thread is interesting, although not 4x4 related, nice to know what some of you do.

I work for SIG Trading or Sheffield Insulations as its commonly known or any of its 100+ subsidiary companies, Iv been Fleet Administrator for the last five years, working alongside engineers and garages doing Inspection sheets, Job sheets, invoices etc for the entire Fleet of Commercial Vehicles, before that Distribution Administrator for a courier firm (APC) and several other tedious office jobs since leaving school / college including a stint with the local TA.

I also run a very small business from home selling handmade cards and gifts, I also teach Arts & Crafts at the local youth/oap clubs one a week.

I started life as an apprentice pipefitter/fabricator, qualified at that, and then moved into my passion that was anything with an engine, but focused on the auto electrical side, got my certs for that and then started my own buisness fitting car alarms, handsfree kits, audio, with a progression into remapping and tunning of japanese and performance cars. i then fell out with my long time friend (buisness partner) and we closed the company.

and after careful thought i left the automotive trade.

I am now a semi national sales and accounts director for a very large retail financial company. (bit different i know) 8)

Any chance we could make this a sticky Mav, so new commers can have input? otherwise it will get forgotten.

No problem consider it done,

Mav.
