I love horses, I keep meaning to get back into somthing equine, I also rather like some of the ladys that ride them!

I look after sewage treatment works and septic tanks in the North coast from Scourie right around the coast to Brora before that I used to own a coach company then got wise and worked out it was better to get paid by someone else for half the hours of being self employed !!In the summer I am often referred to as being Scotlands best paid tourist by my workmates as we cover 1000s of square miles in remote areas

Hi, I did work in the steel industry for British steel then it was Corus and now it's Tata steel, retired at 52 and never looked back.

At present I drive a 32 tonne Scania 4 axle roll on roll off taking peoples rubbish to land fills so I off road everyday. Only a temporary job tho.

Before that I had a transport company for 5 years. Before that transport/warehouse manager. Before that a driver. before that a mechanic for ford and vauxhall for some years.

Actually had about 15 jobs all to do with cars and trucks. Still cant decide what to do!! :roll: :roll: :roll:

I'm a house husband :lol: As i've been unable to work because of a list of health problems I have :evil: I am also a carer for my Mam, Dad & 89 year old Grandad :smile: I used to be a mechanic & enginier before I suffered memory lost & some brain damage because of meningitis I was also a free lance DJ here in the uk & worked for awhile in spain. Worked as backing DJ for QFX :smile: & had my own disco company before having to give it up

I WORK FOR TOTON PLANT HIRE BEEN WITH THEM 4.5 YEARS BEFORE THAT 15 YRS IN HEAVY PLANT OPEN CAST AND DEEP MINES ,SAND AND GRAVEL QUARRYS .BEFORE THAT GENERAL FARM WORKER.

Most of my working life has been to do with repairs and mainenance for the steel industry and others, early on i was a merchant navy engineer.
Nowadays most of my time is spent on centre lathes and similar machinery. only 2 yrs to go

Coming upto 4 years a customer service advisor at PC World call centre in Sheffield handling anything from opening times query to web sale and complaint logging.

prior was truck driver and warehouse assistant for 18 months at footwear retailer chain Jonathan James.

before that a bus driver (10 years) for various 'under dog' bus companies ie not First/Worst though many have since become part of the stagecoach empire.

Started nursing in 1988 (October 24th). Did general nursing training, then specialised in childrens nursing. Worked on general kids medical & surgery for about 6 years before specilaising part time in childrens diabetes. been working full time as a clinical nurse specilaist in paediatric & adolescent diabetes for about 5 years.

Also heavily involved in the Royal College of Nursing Paediatric & Adolescent Diabetes Group as a member of the committe, and also sit on the Diabetes UK Professional Advisory Council as a paediatric specilaist (but do both these jobs in my own time and gratis :!: )
