Snorkel fitting

As the title suggests I am about to fit a snorkel to my T2 but I need help as I have never done one before. Has anyone out there got any instructions or could someone take me through a step by step guide.

Also is there an easier way to fit it to the air box without cutting it and re-welding.

I fitted a d22 snorkel was quite easy with the template.

yes mate ive seen it.
I didn't think you had one at first.mine will be external. I don't think mrs j would like a fat piece of flexy pipe in front of her face ooooh eerrrr:lol

That's from when I fitted mine, ended up putting a new wing on in the end, take a look at the rust on page 2

Yes it is !

It really is very easy if you have a template with your snorkel. All i did was alter the template to suit the postion i wanted the snorkel tape the template to the wing and drilled away.

If you want a snorkel to go off roading then just bin the ABS simples :sly
