I've not looked into it yet but I suspect the ECU may be tagged in somehow.
If a car was meant to have abs and then strangely didn't, it's technically an mot fail

Not even as simple as that. Some cars have a test phase where abs light stays on for a bit, then out . Others just with ign. There's a list for the MOT examiner to check. So it's a bit more tricky to hot wire the abs light to the oil pressure light these days :augieWhere did the old saying go "if it ain't there they can't fail it"? I know i'd done that for some things but u can't even stick black tape over lights no more...Its gotta come on & go out with the ignition system
lol I think the standard is 10 secs after start up it should go out...on most anyway :augie
so its not meant to go on and off intermittently then
on the t2 yes problem only if light stays on or come on after its gone out
I fitted a d22 snorkel was quite easy with the template.
Cheers Gav

Sorry that is not very helpful has anyone got any ideas as to if it fits?
I have abs. what has braking got to do with a snorkel?
The other way, is to change the Airfilter box, and come through the wings straight into the end of the filter box, but you need to do a fair bit of modding and filter changing to do that.
The sort you have ordered goes all the way down the wing, and enter in front of the air filter box, which some people feel makes the air have to do a lot more twists and turns to get into the engine, plus, if you have a second battery, there is no room for it to come through.
Coming straight through the wing will reduce the pipe work but how do you attach the pipe to the oval shaped hole in the air box????
