pete pop to tanygroes, I am sure you could pick one up for £10. I'm sure they would let you test it on your vehicle before you payed.

I've rung my mate Gary who works there already:thumbs
None there that he knows about but I will try there tomorrow anyway:thumbs

Well I've got a job in Talgarreg tomorrow so I might nip over, sounds like my kinda prices:lol

UPDATE
Got a new Flux Capacitor (maf) fitted on it today but no difference:doh
New ideas to check anyone?
It seems most prevalent between 2000 - 3000 rpm

Hmmmm. Have you got a boost gauge?

Only thing I can suggest is your check the wastegate actuator and the possibilty of the flapper valve having fallen off and rolled off down the exhaust!

Are you able to check the maf voltage at the ecu (or even at the maf is a start) whilst driving?

hmm...what about the No1 Injector? you changed yours though, didnt you? but i wonder if its loosened up a bit perhaps? just a thought.

Thats where the non intercooled one wins with no ecu or maf :D just as slow as fook

Good luck to you both on your search for a cheap maf :thumbs
My non-intercooled one has always been slow - until a week or so ago - I cleaned the mini filter - now it's so qick I can even overtake pushbikes!!!

Boost gauge , yes:thumb2 Max boost 15psi Tunit chip turned up to get more fuel accordingly (ish)
Turbo was off last week when we did the new down pipe, and all seemed fine.
What is the flapper valve btw ?
I've had a nissan consult thingy from santa, so I'll go and stick that on the slap top today and see what it says.
I've got a multi meter but can I check with that by just reving the engine when not under load?
Cheers:rolleyes:

have you check all filters and also you havent got a slight blockage some where ?

fuel you are using isnt contaminated is it ?

Well I put a new fuel filter on a couple of weeks before crimbo. I haven't got a mini filter that I can find anyway.
Fuel is nearly neat bio and runs a treat even in last weeks -15 cent :augie
Starts as normal runs fine in Miss Daisy mode, coughs under load between 2000 and 3000 then goes like a train again over 3000 rpm:nenau
