Removing 2 Tone Trim from Doors

Am I right in thinking that the lower trim panels on the doors of the round headlight Terrano's are removable?

Reason I ask is, If I had to get another car and I can't find a Maverick it will be a Terrano 100% but I don't like the 2 tone doors and bumpers etc, so I'd be getting some grey bumpers for it and removing the trim if you know what I mean??? :nenau

I'm also a little worried, would the top paint on the door be lighter than what is underneath the trim as the sun would have bleached the colour out surely?

when i changed a lower door plastic panel it was sealed on with body foam tape but also there where locating plugs that went in to small holes in the door its self so i would check it by removing the inside panel and seeing if there are any fixings in side the door berfore your tear them of i can take a picture later if you need it to show the locating plugs on the spare panel i have:thumb2

If you remove the lower plastic panels you will end up with holes that will need filling & the paint will more than likely be a slightly different colour as it won't have faded but the base S spec T2's didn't come with the plastic door moldings. On the plus side the moldings do help stop the door skins getting damaged a bit
