I've not messed with that one!!! I did the one as per the download on top of the IP behind the power steering pulley and there was a sock type brass filter in the bolt in mine, I'll find the link

Hmmm interesting, so I may still have a mini filter then?

This is good to know! Also, did you remove yours?

Yes that's right Alex.I did.but it wasn't expensive.
And truck still goes.
Not lost my moto though as it's having a full overhaul from inside out.
I'm hoping a cheap one turns up rather than paying 180 for injector.
Got a gearbox on standby.new clutch will be fitted.oil leak fixed at same time.
I lost interest in my truck for a while after crashing it and running problems.
But I'm again inspired after last camping weekend.
All will get done.
Working on my boot again tonight and awning afterwards

Truth is I am looking for a cheap mot failure to buy and strip.
Rather than paying 150 quid for headlight and indicator

Thats the way dude

You've got such a cool truck itd be a shame to see it rot away :( (apart from the normal Terrano rot) :naughty

Solid as a rock buddy.
Like said repainting all interior floors again.rebuilding boot.then awning the making a usable center console.
Then re hameriteing chassis and undertruck then fixing body work and bits. While I'm waiting for scrap truck turn up.

With yours being a 2004 Alex I would almost put money on that you will have the little metal filter inside the banjo bolt on top of the filter but I thought you had removed the banjo bolt by now to check as it's was mentioned to you loads of times with your running issues:augie TBH I could see veg oil blocking up the mini filter easily but keeping it of removing it is upto you, I removed the one one my first T2 as I just couldn't get it clean but on this one it cleaned up fine so have left it in place

The filter is inside the banjo bolt & if not there you will be able to see clearly through the holes in the side of the bolt

I had forgotten that on Alex's return banjo bolt that it had a spring behind the piston, I did not check for that on the Mrs motor when I removed it, so will have to have it off again to see, maybe at the W E, Rick

Ok I need some help here trying to figure out what's what,

From what I can tell, there are 4 connectors on the back of the pump, from top to bottom

The L shape hose coming from high up to bolt

An almost flush bolt to the pump, a very short "stump" on the pump, this is the one to remove?

A 3rd L shape hose coming from up high much further away

And the 4th closest L shape hose coming from above

It's the flush short one you want to remove right? :nenau

If your after the banjo bolt everyone cleans your looking in the wrong place Alex it's on top of the IP at the front which you can easily see by looking down past the P/S pump:thumbs
