Well done Zac. Even if he had said he'd opened them up, there's nowt wrong with whipping them off to check. Can't be too careful:thumb2
It looks like it's coming on well, and your right not to trust your safety to someone else.
Looking forward to more pics of the next stage of the job.

Alan
Reminds me of when I first started work in a commercial vehicle workshop, (Plating and testing had just been introduced) in fact I took one of very first trucks to the test station in Hastings, any way the governors father's method of testing the brakes on a 16 ton tipper was to jack it up, put a 10ft bar on a wheel nut while a mate applied the brakes!!! well I was laughing so much inside I had a job to control myself, when I told him that was not a good test at all, he was not best pleased that this new boy had criticised him, but when it failed and we stripped the brakes down, and found them to be shot, he left me to it after that, Rick
I love it pal. Well handy to have a trailer to use. You've done a great job :thumbs
Is there any threads or owt inside of the old tube on the jockey wheel?
Looking good that trailer now. Those jockey wheels seem a bit of a rip off with the prices. Think I ended up getting one from eBay quite cheap as I was fitting one to my camping type trailer. Made life a whole lot easier with a jockey wheel though so worth me spending the cash that time around.
Looking good.
Just need to get some walls built, and a roof, some furniture and a small kitchen a bathroom, and...... :naughty
