I would love to support the club more to, but I am stuck here in N.Ireland and the ferry prices are a nightmare plus I am facing possbile redundancy wont know for a few weeks so I need to save every penny.Would love to come over to one of the meets but hopefully things turn out ok I can do it.

Well there you go Neddy ALL your friends on here want you to stay but you have not seen fit to reply and explain to your friends why you are leaving this club, the way I see it there is still several hundred "DICK HEADS" members who could not care less if you stay or go, It's up to you, but this is one member with a low post count (one of your "Dick Heads") who would not miss you, you've done the same on the UK nissan site.!

It's such a shame that you fell in the trap and classed your'e own self as a dick head It's people like you that are ******* the site up but it won't be for long there is to many good people on here , and only one like you & that's you DICK HEAD.P.S. Just my four pence worth; I think people have to accept that not everybody has the time or inclination to be posting every five minutes....at the end of the day they pays their subs and makes their choices? Does it really matter if they choose not to actively contribute?

Some people just want a bit of technical support, others like the banter (christ knows why!!! LOL) while others subscribe to multiple forums. Personally I can't see what this spat is about having looked at many previous posts?

I was a member several years ago when the likes of shark1e and co were around and we used to have some horrendous spats over conflicting viewpoints (the dreaded hiclones spring to mind LOL - sorry if you've got 'em!) but it was all taken in good part and I don't think anyone on this site ever goes without help when they need it, and thats what its all about.....

I've just re-read Neddys original post and I'm guessing his gripe isn't with people who don't post but rather with those that do post but "contribute nothing", there is an awful lot of pointless drivel getting posted that has to be waded through to get to the relevant stuff. Fine in a thread thats just general chat but in a tech post or similar it can get a bit tedious.

I'm not suggesting a return to the "stay on topic" police cos that was just as tedious, conversations evolve etc but mindless posts for the seming sake of posting don't do anyone any favours. I for one find myself visiting here less and less.

i tend to just use the pub anyway. if it becomes fruitful or relevant it can be moved anyway .

but i have to say the search for old posts is very hard to do . if your looking for something posted last week but not sure where

cant we search posts in order of posting as well..... not just todays posts

I just visit a few times a day now and pick at the threads and try and find where the new info is!, and not just posting some drabble about simply nothing releavent to the thread.
