This post feels like forever ago... But at last I can remove the gloves...

The gloves were covering a bank of 6 capacitive switches... After fitting them I decided that they weren't that easy to get to!

Loosing the ashtray was my next choice!

After taking out the centre trim, again...

I made a paper template of the shape I needed.

I then it cut out in aluminium and free hand bent it into a rough shape.

Test Fit...

I then clamped it to the trim to mark and cut the holes I need for my Diff Lock switch and my new panel.

I used rivets to keep the aluminium in place!

The panel illuminates in a colour not dissimilar to the lights inside the Patrol...

And to let you know you've switched them on, they go blue!

4 of the switches are designated for my roof rack lights...

Front, Back, Left & Right.

The other 2 I've not decided yet!

I do have a couple more planned, but they don't need to be in such an easy to reach position!

All modifications are currently on hold until I finish Fort Freddy. :doh

I actually can't remember... Bought it that long ago! (It was intended for another vehicle!)

Had a bit of time tonight to swap out the old front lights on the roof rack and replace them with a Light-Bar.

I've only taken the mud flaps off mate... Nothing more at this point in time.
