Hi, hope you can help.
Noise coming from nearside hub....I think, difficult to tell with car acoustics sometimes !!
Terrano 2 LWB 2.7 I/Cooler 05 plate. 99.9% in rear wheel drive.
The truck is actually in the air on ramps in a garage as I type, with mate of mine's mechanic trying to trace noise, as nil heard on test run.....typical !!

The noise can be decribed at slow speed, as if the bearing is missing bearing the rest are rattling around...if you get my drift. The noise only happens with rotation and stops as truck stops.
Mechanic has check wheel bearings, but appears all well and good.........any ideas guys ???? :nenau

Is it the free wheeling hub... I have not had the problem myself, but I know it has been posted on here before, one hub stays locked, and the other ticks.. or something like that... while it is in the air, get him to check neither front prop is turning when you turn the front wheels.

Thank you very much, will get him to check......that ticking makes sense, as it only happens in rotation. :thumbs
