most of you wont understand this , but those of you who do will understand why im nissed off .....

tonight i went for a drive and to play with my radio ... i was doing well and minding my own business when i spotted a bloke with what looked like a walkie talkie ... obviously he noticed my 6/7ft aerial on the car and the noise of my radio and came across and started to talk radio stuff .....when he realised what equipment i was using he said he was a radio ham and was very angry and said he would take my reg number on the car and report me ..... i asked him what licence he had ... he had a foundation licence fgs ...... what gives him the bluddie right to criticise me ? .... im furious :hmh:banghead

was actually on 27.555 usb pat , but the annoying thing is hes got a bluddie foundation licence ( 30 mins of multi choice questions ) and i have 30 years of radio use ...... and he gives me a borroking ? ... tw-t.

Seems a lot of worry over nothing to me. Even if he did "report" you wheres his proof ? i would guess the only way "they" (whoever they are) could follow up for any prosecution would be to catch you transmitting unlawfully (if you are be it on your own head if youre not ...nothingto worry about) . However I would keep my eyes peeled for tails when youre out and covert surveillance 24/7. I wold be particularly worried once the all black people carriers with blacked out windows start parking down the street.:naughty

Nah theres always been anal amateur operators, you must never have come across them in the past. Just as there are plenty of CB anoraks too.
