Didn't they put a V8, in a B body, and call it the MGC...:nenau

Straight six in the MGC. MGBs use the Rover V8 officially and the already mentioned Costello conversion was a V8 too (this had raised lumps on the bonnet).

You know I seem to remember seeing them with an extra B I think they had a more upright front screen for the slighlty different slope rear tailgate.

Think they are pretty rare as not a long production run. Looked in my old Glass's Guide Check book but its pre 1964 so only early model listed.

Well as promised here's a few pics of the MG. Not the age I thought but still free tax band and for the price I'm paying I'm really not going to worry.

This car has been sat in this garage for the last 10 years and I really don't expect much but I like it and that is the main thing.

Paid For It!

Right aguys a little movement on the MG, just been and paid for it. Need to make room for it now and my deadline for collection is February Half Term holidays.
